Planina Stamare from Jesenice via Alničje

Today I trudged from home in Jesenice to Trebež, to Kres and from there along Gajškova to the first path junction (at the sign on the tree), where I turned right up the slope. Initially a nice and wide path running under the steep west slope of Alničje ends higher up, so I headed right into the steep, wide and currently very slippery gully towards the Alničje-Debelo brdo saddle. Not entirely without difficulty I finally reached the top, signed the book, took a break and continued towards Stamare. On the forest road I turned left and at the end continued along the left side of the wide scree, later turned even more left into the forest, and climbed along the stream to the sunny and quiet Planina Stamare. Snow has currently melted just up to here (1400), higher up it's all snow-free anyway. In about a month it'll be possible snow-free to Vajnež.. I returned along the path towards Pristava and later branched off from it back to Gajškova - Kres - Trebež - Jesenice. Almost 7 hours walking incl. all stops. I don't recommend the mentioned gully (to everyone). Best heinz!

This is a picture of the gully I ascended to Alničje that day in muddy conditions. Worst in spring. Otherwise no problems.. In the picture reversed: Right Alničje, left Debelo Brdo.

Already yesterday I (from home) climbed directly from Kres to the ridge of Alničje, but near the top I missed the steep path on the SW edge (path ends) and ended up in even steeper forest slope, through which I barely made it to the top of the ridge. I descended towards Rovti and Gajškova. Today (repeat) I finally turned to the edge in time and approached the ridge correctly, and continued along it. First again to the saddle below Debelo Brdo, then further to Stamare. Returned the same way. Descent in the steepest part is quite awkward (demanding) due to steep grass and dry leaves. In wet - not recommended. Best! h

Today I approached from the eastern side of Alničje, through Koroška Bela or Zevniki along the Čikla stream. The path is quite interesting at the beginning, somewhere in the middle between Zevniki and the marked path Pristava - Valvasor, when it turns to the Čikla bed, it simply runs out. For continuing there's nothing left but walking and scrambling in the bed (there's also another along the slope (for next time)). After exiting the bed I continued to Stamare from where I returned past Kraševec, Javorniški Rovt, Trebež, Jesenice.

I'll dust off the topic a bit. Today from Bela over the Alničje ridge (by mistake we hit a beautiful but completely abandoned entry variant that connects the eastern path to the ridge) and then to the crystal-clear horizon from Stamare. Back first past Kraševec to the mine, then directly our way to Gajškova and back in a loop. Nice places. The descriptions of these crossings on Hribi.net are already heavily worn by time and it would make sense to refresh or remove them. Well, if we're used to such terrain, no need to explain how we enjoy them
