We'd like to do a hike from Lepena to Planina Zagreben to Lipnik and Planina Golobar. Wondering if anyone has hiked this trail, a description would be great. How long time-wise? (partial info also good e.g. just to Planina Zagreben...) Thanks

Maybe the "Veliki Lemež" description I did some time ago would help too: http://www.hribi.net/trenutnerazmere.asp?slo=1&gorovjeid=1&id=2665

So I don't have to search too much. Yesterday was a nice sunny day. And our all-day tour from Lepena past the Lepenjica and Šunik waterfalls to two WWI monuments on Planina Zagreben. Below the pasture is the memorial of the Austro-Hungarian 4th Bosnian-Herzegovinian infantry regiment. On the pasture is the sign of the Austro-Hungarian infantry regiment. Marijan had our route on his phone, because further to the top of 1776 or Ruševa glava we didn't know. That peak is full of iron, wires still on top. It's in the middle between Vršič and Lipnik. As long as possible we followed the mule track. Then we ended up in tall grass and tried to get under the peak. It's steep there. In that part in 1915 an avalanche buried 58 Austrian soldiers. We decided to go to the top right along the ridge. The last part was exposed. Even more than on Trentski Pelc if I compare. We descended the other side through the ditch and reached the path below that leads to Lipnik. Then crossing to the other side, or rather where we turned left in the morning. And along the same path to the monument and then along the Path of Peace to the starting point in Lepena. The tour, which had been long planned, turned out nicely for us yesterday. But it's quite demanding. Due to the pathless terrain and steepness in the last part and finding the path to the top. 16 km and 1400 elevation gain.
