Beautiful, mysterious and lonely Zapotok Pasture - on Sunday, 17.4.

Ojoj, the hut is already half collapsed! A few years ago, when I last visited it, the wooden beams still held it well. I hope they demolish it and renovate it anew to its original appearance as it once was.

Zapotok Pasture is awakening from winter sleep...

It's a pity that it "wakes up" only in spring - otherwise it decays so sadly! Is there really no one in Slovenia who would take care of at least the external appearance of this our heritage?

Zapotok Pasture was quite a good choice for yesterday morning. The path is in good condition, after the last renovation the fixed protections (at least for my taste) are somewhat too many. The hut is still holding up well, the unmaintained part doesn't look much different than before winter. A couple more pictures...

Nice trip. The instrument isn't a guitar; if I see right, it's a ukulele.

How many strings does the most common Renaissance lute from the times of Da Milana have? Surely you can count a few more strings

That instrument at Zapotok had two strings.

20? No. If we're talking about the most typical lute at the end of the 15th and beginning of the 16th century. It had 6 double strings or more precisely 5 doubles and the first was single If you research the matter further in time, you'll really be surprised by the number of strings on baroque lutes and theorboes

Some of us were in this solitude on the pasture, where streams babble and the rustling of waterfalls can be heard. You really don't need to carry water with you. And a nice day came about. Now it's dry to the pasture. Further on snow still lingers.

On this pasture at this time you really don't meet anyone. Only the rustling of water can be heard. There's still a lot of snow on the pasture. Under the walls of Bavški Grintavec too.
