In the morning we park at the parking lot before the turn-off to Logarska dolina. Right at the beginning, a tough challenge awaits us: crossing Jezera on a wet log. The last meter was quite "by the nails" for both of us! The path starts with a forest logging trail. Workers tracing new logging trails in this area try to make us turn back. We smile and continue with what we had planned.
Otherwise, we have some orientation issues as the logging trails split left/right/up/down. We successfully progress despite being in completely unknown terrain. We reach Icmanikova planina and the viewpoint of Logarska peč. From here towards Strelovec. We lose the marked trail and go our own way into the rocks. The pleasure of exploring the wild, rarely visited world begins. We descend to Plesnikova planina and then on the marked trail to Klemenčeva planina. Hut closed, it doesn't bother us. We refresh ourselves, drink beer, and with the labrador and mongrel continue the descent to the valley. At Plesniks we leave the dog and continue the several-kilometer asphalt walk to the starting point.
We made a wonderful loop. Plenty of unknown terrain, pathless areas, hidden paths, and a bit of marked trail at the end.

You can also cross the water via the bridge a bit further from the parking lot, at least that's what the route description Podbreg-Strelovec says. Otherwise, it's an interesting path, I've been studying it for a while too and waiting for good weather.

The bridge is over Črna, Jezera flows under the road. The challenge was this crossing over Jezera velik nasmeh

Especially when we noticed that "secured" crossing. The rope stretches like elastic on old underpants and isn't much help. velik nasmeh

Thanks Tone for forwarding the description, if I'd known about it earlier I'd have gone more confidently on those numerous logging trails or I'd have gotten completely lost in the current state velik nasmeh

The actual situation is completely different now! Just go for it and look carefully, you'll notice a few more challenges...for next time cool

Not as muddy as it looks and we weren't dirty at all at the end of the logging trails - there are quite a few!
And I'll correct the title: PODBREG cool

Don't rely too much on photos, because the current state is completely different!!!

The world on the northern side of Logarska dolina is truly wonderful and offers a lot of beauty. Yesterday, when Zlatko you told me so vividly, I was a bit sorry I couldn't join you on the adventure, next time. Fortunately, today I could enjoy the beauties above this beautiful valley. It's been a long time since I was so impressed and enthusiastic. I can confidently say that Logarska dolina is one of the most beautiful glacial valleys in Europe, if not in the world, although that might sound strange. nasmeh

On Thursday 17.6. I did the mentioned route with the difference that I visited Podbrežnikova planina 1241m, the view is fantastic. On the planina there is a clearing which is the result of the 2019 windthrow. Continued to Icmanikova planina under Logarska peč just on forest logging trails which in these parts are a real labyrinth. Without good orientation or if you have GPS it can be quite annoying. Further to Strelovec from where to Klemenča cave where there are still three snowfields on the way, two quite large. The hut will be open by the end of the season. Descend to the valley to Razpotje and by road to the starting point at the beginning of Logarska.

No @geppo, because there was no more rope, just a log over Jezera. But you were right, orientation very demanding, there are quite a few of these logging trails, still fresh. The view from Podbrežnikova planina is really phenomenal and I don't regret it at all, I'll go again nasmeh

On the longest day of the year we two also used it for a trip in this world. Already last year we explored paths and side paths here, but yesterday Zlatko's and Tone's route description attracted us again. From the Logar sisters we headed to the bridge over Črna and along the main logging trail mostly upwards. Somewhere at 1000 m we chose the right logging trail by feel and when it ended just through forest paths upwards to Podbrežnikova planina. A bit higher than this planina we headed left (not right like others) to the rocks of Icmankova peč. A bit along the rocky ridge, a bit through passages between them. From the top of I. peč we descended the same way along the locally overgrown ridge to Logarjeva peč, then to I. planina. Then along the marked [path], a bit just like that upwards to Strelovec. Descent along the marked path to Klemenče cave and to the valley. Along Logarska dolina we returned along the dry bed of Savinja to the source of Črna and a bit on the road to the Logar sisters.

Excellent, @Bbrina, the idea of approach from Podbrežnikova planina to Icmankova peč also came to me, but since plans were like that I left this idea for next time for now. Otherwise, nice tour you made nasmeh
