Last time on Belvi I noticed this action, Pohorje my hill. Do you need to register somewhere in advance, or just write your name on a slip of paper and throw it in the mailbox?

As far as I know, no registrations needed, you drop a note with name and surname in the mailbox.

Been up there about 10 times now, wondering if date also needs to be written there? Do they empty the mailbox every day?

Today to nearby Pohorje to check if there's any snow. Yes, on the top (Mariborsko Pohorje) there's some, enough to give kids some winter joy, but for real snow we'll have to wait. Quite a few people, weather very nice without wind and pleasantly warm.

Today first hike of the year nasmeh and first time to Pohorje. Woke up in great shape in the morning since I didn't drink anything but went to bed very early. Decided for Pohorje because it's close and also due to conditions elsewhere, no point driving far. It was great, no views due to fog, little snow and only from 800m onwards.

Today I went straight to Pohorje because of the weather forecast, didn't feel like going elsewhere. Nice to go on a path I haven't been for a while.

Also with Romana we visited Pohorje yesterday.
We started walking from the parking at Maribor island and along Drava to the stairs at Koroški most, then past Pekarske gorce, to the lower station of the cable car and up to Pohorje. On Pohorje we walked to the fork Klopni vrh, Osankarca, Trije žebli, crossed the stream and a bit on our own back to the marked path towards Ruška koča. On the way back we climbed the viewpoint tower. There we enjoyed views over Kozjak, which we hiked fully a few days ago. Then the path to the car awaited us, which we did a bit differently this time. Since Saturday morning was a workday there was no time for other hills. Pohorje is quite close and I do such a nice conditioning trekking on my favorite trail.

This year the Golden Fox succeeded even though both days light rain, but nevertheless congratulations to the organizersnasmeh
