Pokljuka-Velo Polje-Dolič-Planika-Vodnikov Hut-Pokljuka

Starting at 5 from Pokljuka allowed us to avoid the big crowd of hikers; the nice weather and day off work attracted us. The path to Velo Polje was dry, further to Dolič the first snow patches, but no serious obstacle. Also to Planika some patches, which can be safely crossed with poles or bypassed around the rocks. Further to Vodnik no snow, from Vodnik hut to Pokljuka just more "traffic"

Just to add, yesterday they drove livestock to Velo Polje, so the cheese hut is open and you can get real homemade goodies from the friendly "shepherd". And all other huts are already open too. Lp
