After visiting Pekel cave we set off on the marked path uphill for almost a three-hour hike through Ponikovski karst. The cave itself lies right in the middle of the karst. The path leads through the village of Kale. We go past the Ločanka spring, where we can drink Ponikvice water. This stream disappears in sinkholes and flows in Pekel cave as Peklenščica stream. In Kale village the villagers surprise and treat us. The marked path leads us into the forest. We had already reached Pogorišče peak -416m before. Well, the main goal of the hike was Apno peak-525. We had a beautiful autumn day-even without rain.

I used the forecast of bad weather for wandering around Ponikovski karst. Meteorologists did "threaten" with grayness, but the weather was ultimately quite pleasant for the start of December. Really nice trip, especially if you spice it up with geocaching.
