Potoška gora

Today my friend and I went by paraglider to Potoška Mountain, a bit for a change, so it's not just Kamnik Peak. We went past St. Jakob or Iskrina Hut. For easier walking the bell-ringers took care, who drew wonderful melodies from the bells of the little church at St. Jakob.

The whole way I was thinking about you, friend Tomaž, and wondering why it had to end like that.???

Even the sun no longer has the power to illuminate the mountains that you loved so much.

Today I was also up there nasmeh

. Some sunshine showed up too nasmeh

... surprisingly. Despite slippery rocks and with proper caution on descent it went fine. Otherwise not too many visitors, but enjoyment all the greater nasmeh

Today on Potoška gora from Kokra past Čemšenik and on to Javorov vrh. On Potoška gora the box remained without a stamp... Windy and dewy..

The path is muddy and requires caution especially where roots are present. Otherwise windy and interesting with some snowflakes and bits of clarity between fog and clouds. The stamp is at the hut at Jakob.

Since winter doesn't come to the valley, I visited it on Potoška Mountain. On the path lots of mud and towards the top of course some light snow, for the real winter feeling.

Yesterday to Potoška and Baba via a newly discovered path that branches left uphill before the end of the first asphalt (before the water collector). Starting point is at the transformer in Kokra, then marked towards Čemšnik. The path is quite steep, not secured, but trodden, and the direction itself is clear, just straight up velik nasmeh

After more than half an hour of climbing the slope, the terrain flattens a bit, we reach the ridge where the legs rest a little. Before reaching the trodden path to Baba, we climb steeply once more.
From here on autopilot and without issues we conquer Potoška and Baba. In between we chase a herd of mouflons, true but we see them more in the rear end zavijanje z očmi

Worth going early in the morning and using the last nice day before the announced flood nasmeh

Here the terrain levels out a little for the first time.

In the middle of nowhere we stumble upon this sign, judging by the reinforced track I think nobody follows it :(

They are mom and daughter, mom is already 11 years, so I spare her on long and strenuous hikes.

@hočo, thanks for the warning, but the bear retreats. It has happened that Missy and I walked in his fresh tracks in the snow, they were quite fresh velik nasmeh

Some impressions from today's nice afternoon walk to Potoska Mountain past St. Jakob in beautiful sunny weather. Path without issues, towards the top still some snow, but no problem.

Yesterday after work with Nessy from Kokra past Čemšnik to Potoska, descent along the ridge past Baba. Pleasant warm in the sun, in the shade and with wind it's already a bit chilly. Below Potoska there's a large beech clearcut blocking the ascent on the marked path, a quite long detour needed. It surprised me very unpleasantly, as I first thought the wind felled the trees, but the fallen trees are man's work. Healthy trees, so I don't know what they'll do there. Horror jezen

Today nice walk past Novi grad (Pusti grad) to St. Jakob above Predvoro and on to viewpoint above St. Jakob. Descent past spring below Potoska gora to start.
