Potoška gora, Javorov vrh and Cjanovca

Today I started from Preddvor via St. Jakob. First to Potoška gora, then on to Javorov vrh and further along the ridge to the saddle between JV and Cjanovca. This path had already been walked, so I just followed the footprints. Since I saw that very recently (maybe even one of today's paragliders, there were quite a few in the air) someone went up to Cjanovca, I decided to follow the trail as long as it went. Conditions were quite wintery soon after Jakob onwards, from the aforementioned saddle up I was sinking up to my ass in places. But it somehow went and I took that sinking more as a joke, quite a bit higher up it became too annoying though, as with every step I sank up to my b..t  . Snow was increasingly rotten and mushy, so despite being only about 100m elevation from the top, I decided to turn back. Dunno if because I couldn't stand the constant sinking anymore or out of caution for possible avalanches.. . Anyway, Cjanovca won't go anywhere...
From the saddle between Cjanovca and JV there were no tracks directly towards Jakob and I had to break trail almost half the way... Good conditioning training  .
Otherwise excellent day with top-notch views.

And does anyone know if the shelter in Hudicev boršt is unlocked? Or if it's even completed?
