If Velkavrh advertises, I'll do it too. West of Lake Črnava (which is also great for swimming) there is a prepared landing site for paragliders. After the flight, beer and tasty pizza at Pizzeria Urša fits perfectly

ppegan, you're right. We also have planina Javornik under peak Ženiklovec, which isn't here. Planina Javornik (also Zajavornik) is also on Pokljuka. On this planina Javornik behind planina Veliko Poljana I totally forgot.

There are two Javornik pastures. One is under Ženiklovec, the other is this one in the picture, that is on this side of Storžič.

Branko, on the other side of Javornik pasture, over the hill is the hut on Velika Poljana. Automatic text editor didn't tell you that, namely that there are several pastures named Javornik. The path to Storžič also goes past this pasture

cofka, yes, it's true about the Javornik pasture, which is behind the Velika Poljana pasture. On it is the Krničarjeva hut. I completely forgot about it. Years ago, when Mr. Valenčič (self-taught painter) was pasturing on Mali Poljani, who then moved to the Spodnja Konjščica pasture, it was still a live pasture. At that time he took care of the livestock on both pastures. How it is today, I don't know. He lived right in the hunting hut on Mali Poljani and had drinks set up in front of the hut whenever he wasn't on Mali Poljani. Before Mr. Valenčič, my brother was even an assistant shepherd on Spodnja Konjščica. I even took food and drink up there. But that's already history.
