Right after New Year everything was still OK. Except that the surroundings were so littered that it was hard to safely make it into the bivouac.

Is there any chance that we'll be able to sleep in the nearby Peter Skalar Hut again sometime?

At this rate of renovation of Dom Petra Skalarja, you won't live to see it. The hut is falling apart faster than they manage to renovate it. Read the article in today's Delo about the anniversary of the founding of SPD. The guys built Triglavski dom on Kredarica in less than three (3) years. Imagine, without helicopters, without generators, without mixers, without electric drills, without electric hand tools and without smartphones. They deserve all honor and respect. When did Korošica burn down?? What has been done since then? Given that all modern bivouacs are similar like egg to egg, I wonder if the same designer designed them. Well, we'll sleep in the valley then.

Hi Silvo! To supplement you, on picture 13 the name of that valley is officially: Graben! Best regards and good luck!

In the 80s we also said Quiet Valley; at least that's what the ski resort there was called
