Problem of dwarf pine clearing

Yesterday I hiked from Hudičev boršt to Kališče. Along the way I crossed the dwarf pines between Cjanovca and Veliki vrh. Just don't venture into dense dwarf pines because it's extremely hard to push through. Like walking through mountain jungle. On this hike I noticed dwarf pine clearing. At a few spots they did cuttings, dragged to piles, don't know what they do with it, burn it maybe. Probably dangerous for fires. What seemed even worse to me is they uprooted the roots and what happened - islands of stones scattered across the pasture. Dwarf pines have branched shallow roots and by pulling them out you remove all the soil too. Soil is scarce anyway, this caused erosion as rain will wash soil even more than usual. Don't know if this is really proper way to protect pasture land. Fact is our grazing highlands are overgrowing simply because no more grazing. So solution is only grazing and thinning dwarf pines while small. How devastated landscape looks after clearing mature dwarf pines you can see at Kališče on path from hut to saddle. Like a wildfire raged. Sadly I see nothing nice here. What do others think?
