Pugled is another peak near Ljubljana, quickly accessible, 615 m high. From Podlipoglav several paths lead up, some steeper and more direct, others gentler, more suitable also for children. Access from Grosuplje is also possible, or from the top towards Magdalenska gora...From the top there is a nice view towards Šmarna gora, Šentpavel, Krim. In about six weeks the first blueberries will ripen..

Nice today's late afternoon walk to Pugled. Nice mountaineer's greeting.

Molnik - Povšnik - Pugled All morning I'm shaking off bad mood because of the foggy cover, but at the same time eagerly looking where to catch the sun and not meet half of Ljubljana. At least five circular variants were in play, but in the end I chose the one that came to mind at the last moment. I dial the phone. On the other side an equally bored voice as the weather outside. I promise a coffee for company. In response I get: "OK, when?" For the starting point I chose Šentpavel, from where it's very close to Molnik. At the top I bump into a local and not just anyone, but one I know. We continued in the direction we came from, but along the adjacent ridge/crest. When you reach the road, it's best to head straight up into the adjacent slope - steep and slippery. At the point where the slope would tip to the other side, a quarter turn to the right and along the ridge until you catch the track and then the road. Just reading on Geopedija that it's called pukel/predel Osredek. Through Brezje pri Lupoglavu you go along the road, which at the end of the village turns into a white road, from which at a suitable spot you can turn to Povšnik - all spots are suitable as the forest is sparse and passable. Then along the ridge path to Pugled and down the other side. Finally, a few dozen meters up the road to the car waiting at the small parking lot by the church of St. Pavel.

On Saturday in Ljubljana all foggy, only a bit higher blue sky. Connected peaks Pugled, Magdalenska gora, Molnik, in between some villages. From Podlipoglav to Veliki and Mali Lipoglav, then Slivnica, Repče, Pleše, to Šentpavel and the circle closed. Total 18 km pleasant walk in November sun. Thus walked the circular hiking trail under Pugled, part also along Jakob's path. Interesting is also the archaeological trail on Magdalenska gora, in the second half of the 19th century Jernej Pečnik found many sights here, at the beginning of the 20th century research was led by princess Marie. On these paths some hikers and cyclists, but not too many... quite pleasant.

Pugled never disappoints! Yesterday neither. Weather varied, mostly cloudy, interspersed with a decent shower and quite a few sun rays.
