Can someone tell me what the road to Pungart Pasture is like? We'd go to Kofce, leave the car at Pungart Pasture.

It's really nice to look at the computer and see that you got an answer so quickly. Thanks Andrej, you've answered me several times already, and described the tour so nicely, and it's clear that you hike a lot and know the conditions. We are two families who love going to the mountains, but current snow conditions don't allow higher ascents, so we are very happy with your descriptions. Vesna, hi! Today I went to Veliki vrh from Matizovca via planina Kofce. The path in the lower part is still a bit muddy due to melting snow. The path through the forest rises quite steadily, is well marked and I think you could be up there with kids in about an hour. On Kofce it's real spring, the alpine pasture is in blue-white color of crocuses and snowdrops. In the coming days it will be even nicer, as good weather is forecast.
