Raduha - Lanež - Prosenčev vrh - Spodnje Sleme

I'm interested in what is with this trail, which is drawn on the PZS map as an easy marked trail. Is it really so, because the matter doesn't look quite like that. Namely, last week, when we wanted to go on this trail, we changed our minds at Lanež, when we looked where the arrow and HONIKOVA inscription point. Does anyone know what is with this trail, is it actually marked, passable? Because in the trail book Kamniško-Savinjske Alpe it's not listed at all.
And another problem, on the same map there is no marked trail drawn from junction at Lanež straight down the hill, which then at the foot turns right towards south, probably to the hut at Loki? Markings look older, but the trail is not drawn on the map...

hi!
On Sunday 19.10. we also headed to Raduha from Grohot via Durce to the summit. Since we wanted a loop, we went to Koča pri Loki and then to Lanež, because on the Kamniško-Savinjske Alpe map we saw a marked path drawn from Lanež downwards, we wanted to descend that way. But here was the problem?? As described above, that path seemed very strange to us? 
and I'm also curious what's with that path?
and what is it like? difficulty, passability, etc.
Regarding the path from Lanež, as MarkoS wrote above, which isn't even on the map, it leads to Koča na Loki.

We came on Monday along the ridge from Bela peč - Raduha, but nobody noticed a path anywhere else - just straight ahead - Durce?

geppo, of course you couldn't notice it, if it's so poorly visible. On the rock where the sign for Durce is, from behind it says HOVNIKOVA and arrow, but very very poorly visible.
The path though at least the first bit we saw at the start already looked very nasty, sheer cut rock. And how bad condition it seemed to us, so we didn't venture down it. On the map it's drawn as easy marked path??? No one maintains it anymore?

We'll check more closely when we hike around there again. We had a veteran with us who has been hiking mountains for 50 years and when I asked him about this path he knew nothing. And he's surely been to Raduha already.....

In the hiking guide "Kamniške in Savinjske Alpe" by Peter Fick from 1982, the mentioned path is described on page 357, namely as path from Jakob in Koprivnik to Raduha. Quote from description "Hikers rarely walk this path - shortly and little because they don't know it. It is distinguished by nice views and solitude, no other paths nearby. Between the two wars it was built by the famous Carinthian mountaineer Ivan Hojnik". From the description it's clear that markings were already quite faded back then.
Recently I saw somewhere criticism of the mentioned map precisely regarding this path, namely that a marked path is drawn which no longer exists.

On Sunday 19.10.2008 I did the circular trail.
Hut at Loki - Raduha - Durce - hut at Grohatu - Lanež - horse paddock - hut at Loki. Exit from Grohata looking towards Lanež
is right (unmarked - info you get in hut) on ridge you join the trail that leads from Prosenčev vrh, trail is visible, not mule track, when entering rocks of Lanež red markings are visible that bring you to top of Lanež (descent on this trail I don't recommend). From Lanež descend on markings to horse paddock, at paddock there is artificial lake for watering livestock, when at it you must strictly turn right - markings calm down, walk cca 15 minutes you arrive at wide meadow, looking right notice trail that leads from hut at Loki to Durce. Here descend to this trail and go to adventures ahead.

Sorry: looking from Grohata towards Lanež go LEFT, towards lonely trees, after trees track the path and on it left, this path brings you to ridge to path from Prosenčev vrh....

strange but that some don't even know about this trail? but it's strange that PZS still shows it on maps if it's so bad???

So there is no misunderstanding - I'm asking?
Does the trail we're talking about lead from Grohata to Lanež and back? The visible trail is the one we did when we came along the ridge from Bela peč. But on the way to the Raduha summit, a family inquired about another trail that should lead to Grohata. In Durce there should be one rock right before the drop and the way up was icy also because of the north side. That's why I thought they were looking for a safer way to Grohata!

When descending from Durc towards Grohata I experienced that rock and iciness.
From Grohata left towards the ridge and junction of the Prosenčev vrh path to the foot of Lanež the trail is between pines and on grass. Right at the transition to rocks one needs a bit of caution to get under the wall, followed by a bit of scree, one spots an arrow left and follows those marks. In the rocks there is lots of gravel, some pitons..., and one also needs to climb a bit. If the traverse has already been done there is no fear for this venture. Personally I am not for descent on this trail, it is quite dangerous. It is worth trying. Namely this route I have already done 3x, but always to Lanež. LP

Last year we went from Loka to Raduha. We kept a bit too much to the right, so we arrived at Lanež. The trail is nothing special in the technical sense, but it is nice and goes much along the edge (north wall of Raduha).
I liked it.

geppo - answer to your question! yes probably the family meant trail from Lanež to Grohata downhill, because we also thought to venture on this trail downhill, exactly because of iciness on Durce!!! they decided probably just because this trail is drawn on map as easy trail and not like Vucko describes it! this for me is no longer easy marked trail ...???, if it has pitons in between and you have to climb to get up the rock, let alone down! ???

So, they wanted to avoid the trail they came on (Grohata-Durce) and thought there exists some easier and safer one. Interesting but that hiker who was with us doesn't know this variant to Grohata. We will check this variant when we have opportunity and take some photos to see what it's like!!

From Bukovnik along Hojnikova path over Prosenčev vrh to below the wall of Lanež and up Hojnikova gully to the top. It's an unmarked, rarely hiked path, hands needed in the gully.
