Despite the record low temperature, this morning on Rakitna -27 °C, a nice sunny day attracted many visitors. The ice on the lake is covered with a thick layer of dry snow. Many skated both on cleared ice and on "whole". Shame, because this winter fairy tale, according to forecasters, will end tomorrow.

On Sunday we went as a family along the forest and archaeological educational trail Roman Wall - Rakitna.
The entire circular trail is a little over 3 km long.

Rakitna is beautiful right now! Lake frozen, snow. Runners have also pulled a track themselves, for cross-country skiing. Finally the municipality has started charging parking (with that money they can liven up the offer and arrange recreational trails) - wardens apparently rarely come, but it seems only fair to me that everyone pays that euro.

Nice loop. 
I usually go along Ižanka to Iška and then to Krim (sometimes not quite to the top, but only to the junction) and then descent to Rakitna and through Črna vas back or like you went via Notranje Gorice. Of course from Gornji Ig to the Rakitna road it's macadam, but with a trekking bike you can ride normally.

Yes, the other side of Krim is also very nice. Down to Cerknica then over Planina to Logatec and back to Lj - it adds up to just over 100 km. Or the other direction from Cerknica over Bloška polica past Bloško jezero to Velike Lašče and to Turjak then right "crosses" through villages to Grosuplje then over the motorway to Lipoglav and back to Lj. Here I think I gathered almost 140 km and quite some climbs, it's quite hilly.
Just like that, maybe an idea for someone's bike tour.
