Ridge traverse Mali Oltar-Škrlatica

When the head is cool again, I remember this great ridge tour and share it with you. We did the tour last year with a buddy. We started in GM, climbed up to the Three Larches, continued along the Bučer-Kristan route in Mali Oltar, from Mali Oltar climbed the V pillar of Veliki Oltar and the loose ridge to the top. From there we traversed the ridge to Visoki Rokav. There the real tour had just begun. The saw ridge between VR and Škrlatica is among the hardest and most wild here. Difficulty reaches only IV but exposure and seriousness of the tour are always present. A ridge that I will gladly repeat. Some pics in the link below! For the tour, car to car, we spent almost 18 hrs.

Congratulations, Juš. A few years ago I did the same traverse except for Mali Oltar. I hope we repeat your upper tour together sometime. But since not everyone is on Facebook and some don't want to be on it, please attach the link as a public album in Picasa, like I do and most on Hribi.net.
