Ridge Traverse Šenek-Breitkofl-Kopa

The Breitkofl group that stretches north of Kopa over Velika škrbina, whose towers rise wildly above Remšendol, is considered very rarely climbed and forgotten mountains. In the heart of civilization and in plain sight, right below Mangart, they have defended themselves with their inaccessible appearance. Traversing the entire group which has a series of distinct towers has seen only a few 'known' repetitions. About the Breitkofl group J.Turk has published a lot in Planinski vestnik and Primorske stene recently.
We started the traverse at Šenek, which we reached from the east side and then continued south towards Kopa. On Šenek we first gazed at the grandeur of the ridge ahead and the magnificent Remšendol backdrop that accompanied us the whole traverse. The towers visibly line up all the way to Dvoglav vrh, but only about half the ridge is visible. Once we bit into the necessary ridge towers there was no way back! From Šenek to Gesperrterkofel, over Ranftkofl peaks, then ascent over Gstirnerjev zob and shaggy vertical to Breitkofl summit. At noon we were halfway on the ridge, but knew the hardest was still ahead: descent down the sharp SE ridge of Breitkofl and over all Dvoglav vrh peaks, crossover to the wild and insanely exposed ridge and complicated search for passages to the saddle under Remšenturn towers, which are three distinct towers, middle one highest. When we finally descended from Remšenturn into 200m deep Velika škrbina we knew the hardest was behind us. Only ascent to Kopa remained, and after 13 hours of demanding traverse we stood at the cross and stared back north at the climbed towers for a while, satisfied that this rare traverse succeeded.
Long and strenuous ridge, rocky, orientationally and climbing demanding (-IV/II-III), no need for detailed description as details are so many you get lost in them, anyone who ends up there knows where and what they've come for!!

Hat off!
There were wishes, but I never managed to climb the main peak, we only got to Remšenturn.
Looking at the pics I get goosebumps:-)
