Road from Belca to the Gate (Belca)

Yesterday I drove from Belca along the forest path towards Zapornica (Belca), which is the starting point for Kepa, Mojstrovica etc. I intended to go to Zapornica by car but just before last year's landslide I turned around and left the car at the hunting lodge, that's 1.5km from the main road, from there I also went off-trail to Visoki Kurji vrh, Mojstrovica, Kresišče and returned along the main border back to the starting point. I'm not a trained geologist or anything like that but I think it's not safe to drive on this road, steep terrains appear above us all the time, if something triggers and flies down during driving it can end very badly. Under the road there are deep gullies. Yesterday I even saw chamois twice how they escaped into those steep slopes and it's no devil that someone doesn't trigger something. What anyone does now with the car on this road is their business but just as a heads-up warning. While walking along this road I also checked out numerous waterfalls, small waterfalls, gullies and on foot through the tunnel.

I'm wondering if a mini bus can reach the parking lot for the start of the ascent to Kepa?

In the valley there's continuous snow soon, up to the border ridge there's 20-30 cm of powder, so snowshoes are quite necessary.

So you went down past the sawmill to get to the road after the tunnel? Was it possible to park down there? Thanks in advance!

If coming from Jesenice direction, before the bridge turn right, past the sawmill, on the right above you see a collapsing barracks, continue across Belca stream (which flows through pipes) and start traversing up the scree. Find the path that brings you to the road after the tunnel in 20 min.
The road has already turned into a ragged path at some exposed spots, where there's risk of slipping in difficult winter conditions!
You can park in Dovje at Aljaž and get here by bus that runs every hour. I don't know if parking is allowed at the sawmill.

To not open a new title about Belca, I used this one. And it was also about the road, since we know very little about it these days, and about approaches from Belca, since we didn't know either of the two. My last visit starting from Zapornica was fourteen years ago and that was also my only visit to Kepa so far.
So, road into Belca valley, descent to Belca gravel beds, searching for its tributaries, waterfalls. I thought, at least to the monument we almost have to get, if we manage to find the junction and then the courage to cross the quite dilapidated little bridge. Some succeeded, some not.
