Today walked the mentioned path. Views from the path are wonderful. Path is trodden, so currently no problems on the path. Recommend, suitable for all hikers. Nice mountaineering greeting.

Yesterday we went again to Zajamniki, because we wanted to admire them also in a sunny winter day, which we weren't granted on Tuesday. It was quite wintery yes, as it showed -16 degrees at Rudno polje. But, if you're heading to admire such a beautiful mountain world, that's not too bad.
We extended the tour with a visit to Uskovnica and thus made an exceptionally nice loop, which is certainly the nicest in winter time.

We'll return to Pokljuka at this time, yesnasmeh.

botanik, my data will be very useless. I went to look at pictures, there around 6 hours we were on the path. But that's with all the photographing, snack, chatting at meetings and admiring the surroundingsnasmeh.

Hello,

what are the conditions on the path from Pokljuka to Zajamniki these days? Can one walk normally without snowshoes, crampons?
I need info for tomorrow velik nasmeh

Today walk to pasture Zajamniki from Rudno polje in partly circular tour. Path in places (where spruce avenues along path) icy, but with care and walking on the edge, nicely passable.

Views fantastic, snow on pasture itself already much gone and first crocuses and snowdrops peeking.

Some yesterday's impressions from nice autumn walk on beautiful circular path from Rudno polje via pasture Zajamniki to hut at Uskovnica. After good refreshment in hut, back to start.

Anyone from Ljubljana heading to Rudno polje on Thursday with space in the car for a co-traveller? Would like a short trip to Uskovnica or Blejska hut, maybe cross-country skiing ... But getting by public transport to Rudno polje these times is quite, well, tiring.
