Hello.
Tomorrow, July 30, at 5 a.m. I start running through the Slovenian Karavanks. I intend to cross them in one go, namely all from Zgornje Gruškovje to Rateče.

Petra drives us to the road closure. We grab stuff from the car and head to the hut on Golica along the winter path. I quickly sweated profusely. Nino, despite the multi-day tour in the Karavanks, is still fast. Below the hut we go left and soon reach a familiar path. Later we visit the shepherd at Rošca, drink tea, I eat sour milk, buy black doping too. We continue on the trail above the hut, where a quite big bull scares us a bit. We avoid him through scree. Back on the trail that we did with Uroš a month ago. The weather is constantly foggy and windy. At Kresišče the first drops wet us. Serious rain starts before Trupejevo Povden. The heaviest shower accompanies us over Blekova planina. Later the rain stops. At Korenško sedlo a new storm. We use the roof and sit, time for a snack. When the rain stops, we head past the guardhouse on the Border Trail to Peč. A new thunderstorm with thunder follows us to Peč and later to Rateče. In Rateče streams flow on the trail, we run too. Now it is not important how wet we are; anyway, there is no dry skin or gear on us. In Rateče we change to dry clothes. Of course all congrats to Nino for bravely facing obstacles on the path and realizing his dreams. CONGRATS NINO!

Hello!
In less than 7 days I managed to hike/run the Slovenian Karavanks. The Slovenian Karavanks trail is 360 km long where 23000 m positive elevation must be gained.
