The article in the latest (June) Planinski vestnik got me excited for the mentioned tour and what else remains but to check the thing live before the deterioration on Saturday and the sometimes soul-numbing afternoon shifts, so Jure and I head up there. The thing is well described in the vestnik, also in Habjan's and Klinar's Karavanke. Despite at times very steep scree it really deserves the label beautiful, beautiful, beautiful,... For ''''šodrovci'''' the right one, especially the lower and very upper part is thrilling.

m're1, we also plan to visit Kepa tomorrow per the PV description, but I'd ask for a bit of help with road orientation. We go over Ljubelj pass, then along Rož valley (Rosental) to Borovec (Woroutz), where the road forks to Bertahütte. I'm curious which left turn on the Austrian side we follow or what the sign says - Rosental? Can't find the mentioned Borovec (Woroutz) on the car map either? If anyone knows these places, please provide tips.

Today on Kepa from Austrian side per June PV description. Found local road after some circling, Bertahütte turnoff in Ledenitzen village at Mittagskogelhotel. From parking to hut 1 hour then to summit over 2 hours. Very hot, light breeze saved us. Path incredibly well built, climbing almost like stairs (wooden steps). Nicest part halfway when path winds between rhododendron cushions. Besides reaching Kepa, got to know beautiful Rož valley (Rosental) along the way
