Hello, The boot is the same as the Alpina Lhotse, which I have; it works super with Climbing Technology Nuptse EVO. They have them at Kibuba here. If on sale you get them for 80 EUR or less, option slightly used on the flea market for under 60 EUR. They have only one bad feature, metal not galvanized, just painted, so they slowly start rusting if not occasionally lubricated with WD40 or similar. Good luck in mountains. Regards. Marjan

The best is to take mountaineering boots and go with them to the store for crampons.

Classic crampons fit any shoe, semi-automatic on shoes that are for semi-automatic crampons; automatic on shoes made for that. Any qualified seller must point this out when buying shoes. If you don't trust the seller or he doesn't know what he's selling, take the crampons (or shoes - depending on what you have first) with you.

Semi-automatic crampons fit your shoe and it doesn't matter which ones you take. The brand of crampons plays no role here.

I also have Alpina Diablo 2.0 and recently bought semi-automatic crampons. I took the shoes to the store, where we tried fitting three different ones. Camp, Petzl and Grivel. The first two brands don't fit well at all, because the shoe is quite wide. Grivel G12 went on without problems, just had to extend them almost to the end (shoe size 45). I decided for those, and the price was reduced too. Haven't used them in practice yet. Hope soon
