As I already wrote  after three years a return to Šentiljska pot and it was Palm Sunday again. In April 2009 I was quite active on ,,Šentiljka,,...
Šentiljska pot with its length 55 - 60
km always fascinates again and is an excellent presentation of Slovenske gorice in the part along and near the Mura river. I decided for an atypical variant and this time for a change started on the western half of Šentiljska pot in hiking pace and for something new and variety - in the opposite - ,,contrary,, variant from the start Šentilj - Belna then - Brloga - Krsnik - Eferl - Gaube - Hunting hut on Vranji vrh - Sladki vrh - ford on the Mura - Novine and back to Šentilj - Belna...

Paths of course dry and dusty at a temperature slightly below 10 degrees Celsius. This contrary variant is quite to my taste - dynamic and yet a somewhat different view on Šentiljska pot. Sincere congratulations for the new record on the path. As the initiator for establishing this path within PD Paloma I'm very pleased that runners also take the path. Our markers try to mark the path as best as possible but regarding dogs it's a problem since we're in the countryside. Next time you'll need to take something along as you mentioned, maybe some sausage?

Thanks, we weren't going for the record. If we had gone for the record, it would have been one hour faster.
The path is well marked and I never thought that so much elevation gain could accumulate on these hills.
Looking forward also to the Svečin Path because of that famous heart.
