Sharpening ice axes, crampons

Does anyone maybe have some useful advice how and with what? Probably just with a regular file? Or is it better to leave it to someone who does this, of course for an appropriate price? If anyone knows where or who does such things, I'd be grateful for the contact. Thanks and best!

File, at home clamp the pick in the vice and go... same for crampons, but don't overdo a few strokes up-down and that's it. That's how I did it. best

You could do it with angle grinder (but mocking myself), NO NO ABSOLUTELY NOT. True as Juš said, clamp in vise and file. Some crampons even have markings up to where you can file. Just say if you need, we'll fix all (of course for a reasonable price:tongue . Well could say why file, material not exposed to heat, which would change composition. Nobody wants ice axe pick or crampon tooth too hard or soft, right.
