I'm wondering according to what criterion... I don't know!? elevation above sea level, height difference between starting point and goal of the hike, walking time, trail difficulty, combination of several factors... you get the answer by clicking on the ,,similar hikes,, field. Does the program  select it automatically or is it the site administrator's judgment? Well, I could ask ZS but it probably interests some other users too...

Similar hikes are selected automatically based on walking time, elevation difference, difficulty etc.
