On Sunday, 20.05.2012 with a mountain bike northwest of Trojan to the geographically named area ,,Šipek,,. In preparation for the tour I was interested in four peaks in this part, namely from east to west... Javorje 866 m.a.s.l., Reznarca 913 m.a.s.l., Špilk 956 m.a.s.l. and Veliki Rakitovec 908 m.a.s.l. I connected all four into a cohesive whole via forest paths, former hiking paths and partly logging trails in a fairly uninhabited area. The section between Javorje, Reznarca to Špilk is quite poorly passable even for hiking, let alone biking, and required quite some improvisation. Literature and information for this part is very scarce and what this world is like is shown by the fact that an adventurous trekking race took place here years ago. In this part there used to be a hiking trail, evidenced by really totally faded markings and overgrown paths. Between Špilk and Veliki Rakitovec also one peak - shoulder over 900 m which has no name. On return some additions - partly to Prvin, from Lipovec pasture towards Podlipovec meadow which is already on the Tuhinj Valley side, to small settlement Mali Raven where life is still preserved in Šipka area. Paths dry and partly muddy at around 20 Celsius, partly sunny and light wind. An interesting glimpse into the world above Trojan which is relatively close and also far...
