Today a nice circular tour. (Vršič-Šitna glava-Mala Mojstrovka-southern path). The path is entirely dry, the weather offered beautiful views, there were very few hikers in the morning. Nice regards

Today to Mala Mojstrovka via south path. Start at 2:30 am from Vršič. It was also foggy. First time here, near summit due to very poor visibility (ca 2m) despite strong lights got stuck on a ledge and luckily found passage on the right. Extremely unpleasant and tough conditions on steep crumbly ridge. Arrived below summit around 5 am, "bivouacked" between rock boulder till 6:30 when it dawned. Besides fog, occasionally light snow. Unfortunately didn't succeed, then went - that's mass photographing of this part of beautiful Alps at sunrise. Need to repeat in autumn when weather more stable. On Sunday nice sunny day, quick decision to drive to Vršič. First wanted Slemenova špica, there realized big crowd. So decided for Šitna glava (up there alone), I also quick to MM and back to Šitna glava. Path to Šitna glava not marked, but well followable. Nice regards

Today a nice circular tour via Šitna glava and Mala and Velika Mojstrovka. Path without features (helmet). Weather was nice in the morning, offering superb views. Around noon clouds gathered and rain started, only the two of us were already safe in the hut. Nice regards

Today nice circular path via Šitna glava to M. Mojstrovka. Descent via southern path. Path without features. No snow on path itself anymore. But very windy. Quite a few hikers on southern path. Nice tour. Nice regards.

From home I went in cloudy conditions, in Radovljica already light drizzle and as I climbed Vršič road, more and more foggy. Then just some 10 m above pass it opened. From path to Grebenc I turned to lower path to Šitna glava and instantly sank from noisy Vršič bustle into real quiet.
This path section [is] beautiful, but greasy.
When joined upper path, met trio who despite 'pulling like crazy' persisted on top even as I headed to Mala Mojstrovka. Little before Hanz exit junction snow starts on gentler parts, on steeper avoidable on dry rock. At top surprisingly no one. Descended via Grebenc and over notch on normal route.
Not much snow on path, but enough to force low boots. Crampons not needed, but if temps drop very useful.

Today ideal conditions, Šitna glava and further to Mala Mojstrovka, on path where Hanzova ends to MM summit. Upper part a bit searching ideal line, base not good everywhere, some loose, frozen or rock. At summit huge crowd, some continued to VM, ZM, me and Tinky back to valley.
Met many known from forum, ...

ŠITNA GLAVA - MALA MOJSTROVKA - VELIKA MOJSTROVKA

The plan was first only Šitna glava. Maybe also Mala Mojstrovka, we said and stuffed helmets in the backpack just in case. At MM we looked to Velika Mojstrovka and quickly warmed to it. You have to go up, from Mala you see only part of Jalovec, up it's all more in view. Really great loop though crowded area, yesterday moderate visitors mainly at MM, Šitna and VM not much besieged.

Oh, we looked to Slemenova špica and small lakes there still no news. Not visible.

Some yesterday's impressions of the circular path over Šitna glava to Mala and Velika Mojstrovka and descent by southern path to start at Vršič. Mojstrovkas wrapped in thick fog all the time. Along the way also short climb to peak above Vratca, don't know name.
