Today my wife and I headed to the apparently less visited Sivka from Jernejčkov graben. The path is steeper at the start, then turns into a nice easy hiking trail to the top. Very nice views along the path, the best at the top where you can see far around. Warm and no wind along the path and at the top, so we really enjoyed it. Return on the same path, attaching some pics, lp Borut

There are two different summits.

Right. The summit in my picture SIVKA 1008 refers to the one on SLO transverzala.

Sorry Tadej your http needs replacing because you didn't add the correct heights, if you're adding something check it and write it accurately, and sorry for the criticism, lp Borut

Podplat, I checked everything before posting. The HTTP is correct, as the link works. The heights also match those on most Slovenian maps. So Sivka 1008m and Sivka in Polhograjsko hribovje 934m.

Today I walked the path from Hotovlje over Bukov vrh and Pasja ravni to Sivka. The entire path is relatively well trodden except for a short section from Bukov vrh to Pasja ravni, and even there the snow was hard and rarely broke through.

If you were hiking in our hills today where I live, you must have been very cold, as the lowest temperature of the season was recorded.

It was really cold, but since there was no strong wind it was quite tolerable.

Today I set off on foot from home towards Sivka, it took me 90 minutes to the top...pictures are a bit worse, because I took them with SE K790i.

Some photos from yesterday's trip Lučine - Sivka - Prelesje. The walked path is fully dry and normally passable, mostly unmarked though.

That's how it was today on the path Suhi Dol, Sivka - sv. Andrej - Suhi Dol with extension to the foundations of the watchtower on Kovček.

Today's glimpses from windy Sivka from starting point-Suhi dol. Path nicely trodden. Views, wonderful. Met only one hiker on the way.
