I've been tempted by ski touring for a long time and since my classic ski boots are due for replacement I'm thinking of buying touring boots (Nordica TR 12), but I'm wondering if they're also suitable for regular skiing on groomed slopes? What are your experiences? Best, Matej

Yes, for short skis, if you use them on the slopes, touring boots are totally fine. On classic skis though, in my opinion, they don't fit well. Classic boots grip the foot better for me, in touring ones the foot moves easier. Regards

Yes, and also, when walking stairs you're more flexible than in alpine ski boots.

Nice greetings! Ski touring tempts me too for a long time but purchase stopped at touring bindings! Tell how about touring bindings where you can use mountaineering boot instead of boots (for auto crampons) how's that in practice? More for experienced skiers or rookies please reply! thanks

Hello, buying first touring boots. Do you need to buy a size larger or is there a rule besides they must fit foot 99.99 percent.

Boots must also have space in front like all shoes but not too much. When buckled toes shouldn't hit the front shell wall.
