Ski touring from Aljažev dom

Hello! I'm from Austria/St. Jakob. On May 1st I plan to go to the mountains with a friend.
Does anyone know current conditions for ski touring on Križ or Cmir, or from Vrata (first time in these areas - except Triglav in summer).  Greetings!

Ski touring on Križ has not been reported yet, but in the valley behind Cmir alpinists have already reported approaching Triglav via the Slovenska route.
Snow below melts quickly and on Križ you'll probably need to walk a bit to approx. 1500m or 1h. Higher up, no need to worry about a lack of snow, as under the slopes of Križ snow holds long into summer. For Vrata, the northern snow variant from Aljažev dom to Luknja saddle and below Bovški Gamsovec would also be interesting. The valley behind Cmir also still has plenty of snow. Despite the mild weather, take ice axe and crampons for early morning passages, sun protection and drink, and impregnate the dogs well against snowballs. Good luck and have a nice tour.

Also mine from Vrata. Weather in Vrata on Sunday held the forecast. Start at seven from the parking lot and already after a few minutes on snow ... but unfortunately only on huge avalanche from Stenar Snow starts quite a bit higher. Great for walking and in two hours at Luknja. From there we go to see how much snow still under Gamsovec. Got to cirque a couple of 10 m above 2000. Last 100-150 height meters is fresh May slush. In greeting two marmots whistle at us and let us know it's time to go. To Luknja one short break, under Luknja as you manage ...
