Today, Saturday, via Zakop: somewhat trodden, partly icy, quite windslabbed, currently no avalanche danger. Not much new snow, but enough to cover the ice on the path... Descent much better (safer) via the scree slope than on the path itself.
At the first serious thaw, there will almost certainly be a repeat of the great slab danger! Tomorrow, e.g., still safe, later I doubt.
From the top with binoculars I observed skiers on the recently "unlucky" Dovška Baba, on Klek and also quite a few daredevils on Vajnež.
Golica - nicely visible trodden path above the hut, but no visitors - smart, as it was already past 1 p.m.
It seems hikers are somewhat more cautious than skiers.

Path from Podmežakla ("od Čopa", ul.Her.Verdnika) in middle section due to timber hauling quite changed and consequently poorly marked. Attention needed at numerous logging track junctions. At top situation (for now) still as before.

News at the transmitter - viewpoint platform in the form of a nice wooden balcony with stairs, still waiting for info boards. On Planski vrh now also a board with the story of the Jesenice meteorite. Contribution from TIC Jesenice.

Was up there today, everything is already set up, including the logbook and stamp.
