Sometimes you choose a flat path and since walking around Šmartinsko Lake had been planned for a long time, we chose exactly that one on Sunday.
This lake is near Celje and according to the sign, the walking paths are about 3 km, suitable for all types of hikers; runners were also visible.
But groomed paths weren't enough for us, so we decided to explore the lake along the entire length of its shore, so a bit through the forest, crossing marshy meadows; we couldn't do it without jumping over water ditches . In places really completely overgrown with reeds, and various thorns too, grabbing you from all sides.
It added up to a total walking distance of about 13.5 km.
The entire path around the lake is probably traversed by few people, if anyone at all. We met fishermen who patiently soaked their hooks; for fishing there are precisely measured fishing trails, and with some kind of permit one could read it.
When we circled the path, we also stumbled upon a real competitive regatta of model sailboats, which their owners skillfully maneuvered from the shore; we spectators also feasted our eyes on it.
We were satisfied with the whole trip, especially because we got away without major scratches, and also without worse mud in sneakers. A couple of touches on the wires of electric shepherds weren't too bad either.

Ločanka, really interesting goal for you two who are used to all kinds of mountains. You had a really nice day though. Maybe you know which hills are in the background on picture 16?

By shape it could be Gozdnik 1090m. Zasavsko-Posavsko hills

Thanks to both also from my side. I checked both mentioned peaks a bit on photos and I'm leaning more towards Gozdnik.
