Snow avalanche buried the Bovec - Predel road

Yesterday, 05.03.2009, in the night hours, a snow avalanche was triggered on the Bovec - Predel road at "Pri Mlinču", which buried the road over a length of 60m. From Bovec the road is normally passable to the village Strmec, from the Italian side to the Predel border crossing. Due to the danger of triggering new avalanches, the road will be closed at least until tomorrow. Source: Direkcija RS ... http://www.promet.si/
