On Saturday I set off from Luče on foot to the Snow Cave. The path is anyway a nice forest one, and the shade really comes in handy in this heat. Before the entrance to the Snow Cave I was quite surprised that there were so many of us for the viewing. At the very entrance you have to be a bit careful, because the steps are slippery and steep, then when you're down there, it's really wonderful what hides under Raduha. The viewing lasted about 2h and except for the cold it was super. I recommend the viewing. Then also a walk to Koča na Loki and back to Luče.

I'd add to this post the following: I too was on Sunday (29.06.2008) at the Snow Cave viewing (before that on Raduha). I'd appeal to all potential visitors (who also come just for the cave viewing), to wear proper footwear, because right at the descent into the cave (when you reach the ice stalactites) it slips quite unpleasantly (ice on the floor), so all those in "tennis shoes" look really helpless. So up with the gojzarji, for complete enjoyment. Also because of the "šnopčka" at the end the gojzarji come in handy..
