I also hike in the mountains in winter with Adidas Terrex shoes (goretex), which have excellent grip even on snow, the only minus is that feet get cold quickly because they have good ventilation. So I need some good winter socks. What do you recommend? Merino wool probably the best? Thanks for the advice.
