Špičasti vrh 1128m

Today I climbed this exceptional viewpoint!

Start from the village Zadlog; next to the new sports field there's space for a few vehicles. The terrain is still under construction, but the works seem stalled for now.
The path is very well marked throughout. You walk almost the whole time on a forest trail in the shade of mostly beech forest. The steepness is just right, except for the last few minutes when the path turns into a goat path. There it goes "vertically". But these approx. 100m below the summit only spur you on more to reach the viewpoint tower and antenna. Next to the tower there are two tables and benches. The logbook is mounted on the tower fence.

Bottom line these 440m elevation gain in 45min is nothing spectacular, but the view from the top of the tower is spectacular!! Phenomenal!velik nasmehvelik nasmehvelik nasmeh The other peaks of the Notranjska end hide themselves. Even Golak, Nanos, etc. don't offer such views: from our sea to Gulf of Trieste, Goriška basin, Golaki, Porezen, Blegoš, Kanin, Krn, central Julian Alps with Očak, to Stol, complete KSA... Directly below you the charming Zadleška valley.

Bottom line: a peak that's a hidden gem in Slovenia, unfortunately (or luckily) overlooked!

Today's afternoon visit despite high clouds provided views from Julijci, Karavanke and KSA to S, to Trieste Gulf to SW and everything in betweennasmeh

Path without special features, at summit tower light breeze and full of flying female ants and young flies, but they didn't like your flying too much, so not annoying factorvelik nasmeh

Short but sweet tour that doesn't disappoint with views!

After a couple of years up again. This time in early autumn attire. The start of the path is partially messed up because spruce logging took place and everything is churned by machines. Some branches on the path.
Otherwise the path is still nicely marked. At the top of the tower the late afternoon sun was pleasantly warming; no wind. While at the starting point it was quite windy and cold. So you could nicely martinčkatinasmeh
