SPP: Artviže Ankaran and Slovenj Gradec - Robanov kot.

I am planning a hike along the SPP from Sl. Gradec to Rogovilec.
I leave the car at Rogovilec, put the backpack on my back and get on the bike. I ride to Solčava, mostly pushing the bike to the Sp. Sleme pass, then ride through Črna to Ravne na Koroškem, and then to Stari Trg above Sl. Gradec (gostišče Na Klancu) partly riding and partly pushing the bike (bike is for hills, not road).
At the Na Klancu restaurant I leave the bike in the forest and in the strongest sun without shade barely make it to Poštarski dom. There I rest well, then slowly to the top of Uršlja gora. First day I still descend to Andrejev dom on Sleme.
Second day over Kramarca, then steep shortcut (SPP?) to Dom na Smrekovcu, then over top of Smrekovec, Komen and Travnik, via Koča na Travniku to Loka pod Raduho.
Third day to top of Raduha, over Durce to Grohot and then descent to Savinja and Rogovilec. By car to the bike. Along the way I visit short section Na Klancu - Sl. Gradec.
Huts: Praise to very friendly caretaker couple at Andrejev dom, especially Darinka. In Smrekovec cows are allowed into fenced serving area, where they release their „projectiles“ among children playing and eating. Top blueberry strudel at Loka and hello to the girls working there! Surprised that Rogovilec is no longer a restaurant and no longer serves drinks!
SPP generally well maintained. At top of big meadow above Apačnik need to head steeper uphill, then at upper edge missing signpost straight by fence (to road). Towards Smrekovec before Osekan vrh after end of macadam (after sign for Smrekovec and Golte) turn left to wonderful path to Kramarca. Sign for unmarked shortcut to Travnik top quite confusing. Markings on Pl. Vodole very poor, need to turn deep to stream and signpost. And on Pl. Javorje markings very poor. Section from Grohot to Savinja (Grobelnik) very neglected at key problematic spots (crossing tractor path and then destroyed forest part), last descent through clearing to Grobelnik almost completely impassable though well marked. Shame that SPP section so neglected and not maintained. From Grobelnik to Rogovilec on road no marks, also no marked junction from road at Grobelnik.
Section from Apačnik along meadow and road to Poštarski dom very sun-exposed and advise against mid-summer, also ascent from Loka to Raduha. Wonderful sections exist from Osekan vrh to Kramarca and from Smrekovec top to Komen top, also ascent to Travnik.
