Above Štore in Celje hills. 700 meters high peak. Interesting approaches to it and especially steep ridge approaches. Today from Štore direction and continuing along Celje mountain trail to the summit via classic ridge approach. Views are great and Celje excellently visible. Descent via Osenca and Stari Celjski grad along CPP trail to Celje. Ideal temperature, dry paths and lots of sun at the transition from summer to autumn.Strava/Srebotnik700peak,24.09.2016 and Srebotnik700 in Celje hills,24.09.2016 Greetings!

In the medium-high world of Celje hills in afternoon hiking activity. Area between/above "steelworkers'" Štorami and "zinc plant" Celje. Marijina chapel carved into the northeast wall of 700m high Srebotnik as basic-primary goal. Strong spiritual point of locals between Štorami and Celje. Ascent from Štor and descent to Celje—it was one atypical Ypsilon. Hello!

I would park at this starting point:
http://hribi.net/izlet/pecovje_almin_dom_na_svetini_cez_srebotnik/25/880/1557

and do this loop:
Pečovje - Srebotnik - Almin dom na Svetini - along Bojanski graben - Pečovje

given current conditions, should I do it in this order or reverse?
I'm not from around here and it would be my first time: is there currently a lot of water and maybe difficult or even impassable through Bojanski graben?
Around the summit of Srebotnik in the steep part any noteworthy issues (slip hazard, etc)?

No more snow around here, so there shouldn't be much water either. On Srebotnik I don't know if there's anything slippery somewhere; I was up there years ago and I've almost forgotten a bit. Just watch your feet carefully.

I went from the Hudicev graben side. Nothing dangerous on the path, a bit below the summit there are also fixed ropes, but even without them nothing bad (maybe safer in winter). Down via CPP, also without issues. But nice up there. Real peace and beautiful views.

Up through Hudičev graben, past Celjska koča and Tolsti vrh to the wall and via right bypass to the summit. Down the path with fixed ropes and along marked path to Hudičev graben and descent again through the graben. Interesting circular tour.

Yesterday Škofja Loka retirees group Četrkovci carried out a demanding tour to Srebotnik via Hudičev graben. Already before approach to path from fishpond we had to perform a real logistical maneuver. Under underpass no bigger van than 20-seater goes, so we drove under three times. Before underpass at parking bus was waiting. Then along marked path to Hudičev graben. It's adrenaline real little ferrata, well secured. Even have to hop a bit on stones not to wet shoes. After good three quarters hour steep ascent to panoramic Srebotnik awaited us. Up there even flag greeted us. No lack of stamp and logbook. Down other side and just arrived at fishpond from other side.

We parked in Pečovje at the hayrack, I'd say approx. 1 hour or a bit more, maybe someone a bit lessnasmeh. Just go up, the nicest trip these daysnasmehnasmeh

Today through Hudičev graben to the summit and descent past the junipers and along Barbarina path back to the starting point.
At the starting point in the morning everything was empty, upon return there was no more space. In the ravine the cable is torn, so be careful there.
Since I was early enough, there was no crowd on the path either.nasmeh
