From Tamar to Srednja, Visoka and Zadnja Ponca.

Warning: in the upper part of the path to Visoka Ponca a landslide happened on the ridge, so the grass the path goes on is now without rock support. If someone steps there they will go express to Italy. Bypass a meter or two before directly up/down, don't walk on the edge.

On the harder part towards Zadnja Ponca only old cables, so need to be very careful.

Here is an excellently secured path to Visoka Ponca

Here it is hollow, under this grass is only air. Careful.

Harder section to Zadnja Ponca, some old cables are here mainly for museum value.

Scree, we all prefer to go straight ahead.

We were also on Saturday 21.8 on Srednja and Visoka. That grassy ridgelet under which there is no more material is really a deadly trap.

P.S.: Hope that "patient" also reads this post, who stole my hiking poles on Srednja Ponca. May they break as soon as possible!

What is the difficulty of the path from Srednja to Zadnja Ponca? In several places I read that protections are destroyed, great caution needed, description says "summit not accessible to everyone"...

Can someone please explain a bit what that means on the hardest parts? Exposed scrambling grade 2 up and down?

From the col onwards steep grassy terrain, without good holds. Maybe some 20 height meters..

Somehow like @djimuzl described, but also very exposed - the fall would end only about 80 m lower in the gully between Poncas. Last time I was there, a somewhat unreliable cable was hanging miserably from the upper ledge, which helps very little on descent.
This part is short, but one of the trickier officially marked ones here and advised against in wet - but not too bad and the further ascent to the summit is very nice and scenic.
Attaching a photo of the tricky part from a few years ago. Careful, otherwise go ahead boldly.

6.9.25 From Bivouac Lakes via ferrata to High Ponca. Back via SLO side to the notch and via normale back to I. Ferrata is wonderful and protections are in super condition, all renewed. Also on SLO side all protections in excellent condition, only the first 50m of descent to them is very scree and crumbly and everything you grab stays in your hands. Missed a mark or two there badly. After that all OK.
