Some photos from Sunday's trip to St. Peter.
The shelter at the top is open every Sunday of the year. Paths are normally passable.
Regards, Tadej

Tadej,
in the trail description to St. Peter, replace the shelter pictures.

At the old pictures I added that it's the old, burned shelter. I think it's right to see what the old shelter looked like. For now I added two pictures of the new shelter.
Anyway thanks for the notice.

This time to snow in Dolenjska. We left the cars in the village Dvor, where we can see the remains of a large ironworks that operated during Austria-Hungary. Then we go on foot along the road through the villages Jame and Podgozd to the start of our trail. Already the crosses of the Way of the Cross greet us, which line up all the way to the top of St. Peter. There is quite a bit of snow, but the path is trodden. Before the summit the path goes quite steeply up along the wire fence. Otherwise we don't know what it's for. At the top a wooden tower greets us, which the bravest climb and behind the tower we ring on five tubes. The shelter at the top is really nice. Next to it is a covered round shelter where you can sit.

St. Peter above Soteska or Krka river valley offers exceptional views of Julian Alps, Karavanke, Kamnik Alps and parts of Dolenjska to Kum on clear days, but forest obstructs other directions. Access is easy and path well marked.

Today, we hikers in the organization of GK Limberk walked the nice path to the top of Sv. Peter. Currently the path itself without special features, little snow.

Nice mountaineer's greeting.
