On Sunday we headed to Staničev vrh via the south face. We started from Jermanca, where the road is better than last year. From there along the path through Repov kot, where erosion has carried away a few more meters of the path. Not much snow, under the pools we climb up it for 50 meters in the traverse. The snow is still consistent enough to carry human weight both in the morning and in the afternoon on return. The gully to the ridge of Staničev vrh is desperately crumbly (don't know if it's just me or our mountains disintegrate faster every year), in it there's about 100 meters of snow, which basically makes walking easier. Luckily the rock in the south face is still excellent, holds and steps solid!

On Saturday it rumbled from tehnaze pr juriju; they could be heard in the rock.

Routes are bolted/equipped, yes. Some "svedrovci" (classic expansion bolts with hangers/ears from Bauhaus of ordinary metal) are now 14 years old...
