Hi, something's not clear to me. In the past they organized the Golden Fox on the top ridge of the hill, at around 1000 meters altitude, then they moved it down to the Snow Stadium above Radvanj. The race now takes place somewhere from 550-340 m.a.s.l. Given the poor winters we're experiencing and will undoubtedly continue to, shouldn't the race be held at higher altitude? I assume they couldn't squeeze 20000 spectators up there, (is that the reason the race is now held down below?) but nevertheless the snow would be much better (already due to lower temperatures) and the scenery would be nicer too. Yesterday for example when the crowd in Radvanj was flooded with rain, it was snowing nicely up top. Otherwise, hats off to the organizers for the excellent track preparation despite the conditions! But anyway, am I the only one who thinks the race should be held at the top of the hill?

Stara Fiska was considered the toughest course in women's skiing, for anything other than slalom it's too short, and more than 1000 people you can hardly fit along the course so everyone has a good view of the action. They planned to extend it, already started cutting but it all stopped, why, I don't know. The course down the valley was created mainly for the spectacle(spectators), and so they could show FIS that it works even at such sea level height. Otherwise the course existed before.
