Nice variant for eager eco-Jeseničans is e.g. this one that Reksij and I walked today: Jesenice- Trebež- Kres (Kor.Bela)- across Alničja ridge to saddle- Stamare highland- Hrašenska pl.- Kamnitnik- Potoški Stol- Stol.
Back nicely along Žirovniška- Valvasor (for beer)- past Ajdna to Koroška Bela- Kres- Trebež- Jesenice.
From home to Stol top we walked 5 and a half hours, a total of a good 9. At the end you feel it's worse than Triglav. Elevation gain really almost as much..
Valvasor hut now open all days of the year (if nobody has posted yet), prices reasonable.

You won't believe, Reksi still full of energy, tomorrow he won't even remember today's Stol. I need a bit more..velik nasmeh
