I didn't find this topic, if I missed something, I apologize. On Tuesday (21.1.2014), no people, great excursion. First hop to Straža, average 40+ degrees, then a bit of climbing a little off-path to the castle, where they want x € for entry, I turned around and ran to the lake, took a photo of the swan embracing the island and one panorama.

Also on Bled conditions are dangerous.
It was a bit mysterious.
Lots of snow, almost no people, fallen century-old trees, road under castle closed. Since it started snowing again, already heard trees breaking under Straža. Hope for the best. Lp

If someone gives such pictures all in a row only one star, then something is definitely wrong with him. Probably annoys him that he has to give at least one. velik nasmeh

Maybe it's not that clear after all how to vote. When I voted the first time, I thought the stars show the number of votes and not that they mean the rating. Only when a debate about it developed once, I realized I was thinking wrong...

This time, somewhat delayed, about the walk on New Year's Day. Start at Lake Bled, continuation towards Bohinjska Bela. The return by train on the Bohinjska line doesn't happen every year either.

Straža is a nice viewpoint above Lake Bled. The approach is not difficult and there's a fun circular path on the hill. Snow only on the ski slopes nasmeh

Straža, Dobra gora, Ribenska gora... are little hills that rise in the Bled area. Suitable for spring time, when there is still snow higher in the mountains. Nice views of Bled and surroundings. However, caution is not superfluous. On Dobra gora there is a sheer cliff, on Ribenska gora there is a short but narrow ridge and the top is rocky. Nice wandering. nasmeh
