Well, let there be a summer report too, so the winter one is not lonely here. It's already spring in these parts and today the sun shone for a while. From Rimske Toplice along the Ogeški stream valley. Then direct path to Kopitnik, with a short detour to Stražnik, which nicely watches over Rimske and invites with rocks. From Kopitnik to the hut for good coffee. Despite the wish for return via Lurda, the marks hid somewhere, so the path was circular but with return directly to the starting point. There was also some crawling under and between fallen trees, which turned out unnecessary later. It seems to me that the hiking map does not reflect the real state of the marked paths in this area. Neither the one from Lurda nor the return one are drawn on the map. Nice trip for these days, Kopitnik is a really nice peak.

Yes, Posavsko hribovje-west map is deficient around there (and elsewhere), even drawn paths very approximate, not to say wrong ... Geopedia or pespoti.si much better, best print track from there; path to Stražnik summit still missing.

Yesterday I went for the first time from RT to Stražnik. The last sign "Stražnik 30 min" is in the Borovo settlement, further no signs, at one abandoned house higher up turn left (straight to Kopitnik, which is written 300 m higher on a big rock) and slightly down (discovered later after searching), but no signs at key junctions. Similarly, the path via Lurda to Kopitnik is poorly marked at key points, signs lying or none. I think this area needs serious marking, as now it is worth nothing. Stražnik is an interesting hill, I'll return now that I know where and how. Really a pity that it's like this. But don't the markacists have some courses or what?
I won't buy any more PZS maps, it's throwing money out the window, you can't help yourself with them (wrong and scale 1:50000).

Today after a long time with son to Stražnik and Kopitnik via Ogeški stream valley. Now path to Stražnik marked and other paths exemplarily signed. nasmeh

Descent past hut back to Rimske. Weather nil. velik nasmeh

Today quite Sunday-like to Stražnik. Up past the spa on Aškerčeva promenade path, back via Ogeški stream valley.
Path without features.

Some yesterday's impressions from the trip Marno - Gore - Kopitnik Hut - Kopitnik - Stražnik - Marno.
Path mostly dry, below Kopitnik summit many fallen trees.

Did you check the rocky peaks across the gully to the other side of Kinclov? V. Kozje, it's interesting there too velik nasmeh

Of course I looked at those rocky blades up there. It looks very interesting, definitely need to check it closer sometime.
I also checked Veliko Kozje well, there are more ridges and it will surely be interesting to explore around there velik nasmeh

I used the extended weekend for gathering strength, rest and tidying, so I didn't manage farther. Thank God for the winter idyll on Kopitnik. I started from the parking under Rimske Terme along Stojanškov graben to Stražnik. I continued to Kopitnik and the hut, then back to Rimske Toplice and also to Kincl. Due to the steepness in the initial part, I would repeat the tour in the same direction. Total 10 km and 750 m elevation.
