Today in the rain to Sv. Lovrenc or Gora. This is a pleasant hill not far from Postojna. From Postojna we drive to the village Studeno. The starting point is at 600m altitude. To the top only 400m elevation gain. From the starting point I went on the right path. The nicely trodden path goes straight uphill. In one hour we are definitely already at the little church of Sv. Lovrenc. To the top the path is somewhat rocky. It will take us only ten minutes. Here there is a stamp with a logbook and we also have a wind vane on a round pedestal. From the top we see Snežnik, Slivnica, Javorniki, Vremščica and part of Nanos. Down I went on the other path. This is a very recommended hike, also for the afternoon.

Today it went for real. Retirees PD Škofja Loka - Monday hikers went to Sv. Lovrenc or Gora. Start was in the village Studeno. It goes on a quite steep path straight up. True, only 400m ascent, but it was very hot and therefore very tiring. At the little church though we had a longer break, then to the top. Down we went on the other path - descended to the village Gorenje. First the descent is a bit rocky, then the steepness eases. It was nice, just a bit strenuous.
