Today a nice circular tour to St. Nicholas via Cicelj to the starting point. Nice path suitable for families. From the top of St. Nicholas nice views are offered. Nice regards.

We used the afternoon cloudy weather for a hike to Cicelj and St. Nicholas. The path is nice and suitable for family hikes. Nice greetings.

This morning a quick decision is made that we need to go somewhere into the sun. I head to Cicelj and St. Nicholas above the Sava. Starting point Križevska vas. The path is quite muddy and slippery. Otherwise it was a nice warm sunny day up there. Nice greetings.

Today nice circular path from Križevska vas to Cicelj and further to St. Nicholas above Sava. Then descent to Velika vas. From there further to the starting point. There's some snow on the path, but it doesn't pose an obstacle on the path. Path suitable for all hikers. Nice mountaineering greetings.

How come Skala hikes only in excellent conditions to have such views? We persisted with today's Sunday morning hike despite fog and light snowfall. From Senožeti to Velika vas, pleasant path. Then a bit more frozen and more careful to St. Nicholas. For safety better with small crampons. We continued the path to Cicelj, winter joys but no views. Descent to Križevska vas, on to Velika vas and descent to Senožeti. Four family members first time, all satisfied. 680 elevation gain, 12 km, nice for Sunday morning.

On Saturday we joined PD DELO. We went to St. Nicholas and continued to mountain hut at Ušte-Žerenk and returned to Velika vas. We started the path at the sad story of unfinished elderly home, pity... First short ascent to St. Nicholas, path dry, although some snowflakes fell on opposite hill, at Janče. Persistent cat accompanied us until dog joined and chased cat away. We went through Katarija village, which has beautiful views to KSA, even to Julian Alps. At mountain hut Ušte suitable for families, kids, possible continuation towards Geoss. We returned this time via lower path directly to Velika vas. Suitable tour for families or short trip near Ljubljana. Total 9 km and 400 elevation gain

Although St. Nicholas has passed, this weekend was dedicated to Nicholas hikes. Saturday Nicholas mountain, Sunday St. Nicholas and Cicelj. Weather forecast not best, not much time, but this tour suited us. From Senožeti to St. Nicholas, to Cicelj, Križevska vas and back to Senožeti. Total good three hours walking. Path not strenuous, marked, one part muddy, slippery, but nothing special. We found that good company even more important in gloomy days, so we don't get lazy and completed tour cheers us up...Health and good hikes wish in 2023 to all our acquaintances and others on portal...

1 hour 15 to Sv. Miklavž, to Janč 2 hours 20

Today nice circular path to Cicelj and St. Nicholas above Sava starting from Križevska vas. Descent via Velika vas and on to start. On path some snow trampling, but not too much. Nice path. Views next time.
