JZ ridge Kočn - Kokrška, Jezerska (16.12.18)

I walked about an hour still in the dark, and dawn broke somewhere in the middle of the grassy gully. There wasn't much snow at least up to the saddle. At the entry to the ridge, I equipped myself with winter gear. The snow was of mixed base, softer than hard. From the top at Križ to the marked path on Kokrška Kočna, it's difficult terrain, especially with this base. On the path between Kokrška and Jezerska K., the snow cover is quite substantial. The gully under Jezerska Kočna in Dolce is poor in terms of snow. Just enough for the first pitch. The northern gully on Grintovec doesn't have enough snow for an optimal ascent. Return over Ovnove čeri past Cojzova koča back to Suhadolnik.
