If I understood correctly, it's some conference on technological advances or something like that. But I think if the Dom (hotel) at Kredarica has such space capacities, I don't see why anything would be wrong. There anyway all sorts happen from weddings, accordion, fire brigade hikes to mass boozing, so if participants behave culturally, I don't see why not. It's also a non-profit organization.

What is TEDx TED is a non-profit organization devoted to spreading ideas. The annual TED conference hosts leading global thinkers and doers who deliver ideas in 3 to 18 minute talks. These talks are later freely available on the website www.TED.com. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx arose, where x describes an independent, local event. At TEDx events live speakers and pre-recorded TED talks mix to spark deep discussion and connection within a small group.

I agree with jesihar then, this really has no place in high mountains. they can do it in Kranjska Gora or Bled or...

High-level education, no, but obviously no problem that practically every August weekend there is competition who plays accordion worse, who yells louder at 1am, and who carries more beer and schnapps to Triglav (of course drunk). No, cultural educational stuff, that really has no place in mountains.

@keber1 you set it a bit wrong. Criticism is on permitting mass events in mountain nature, not on low culture of Kredarica visitors. These are two completely different problems.

Not really. When there's a "mass" event in nature, there will almost surely be some rowdiness. On the massiveness itself I doubt, since not everyone gets to Kredarica. Which is of course a welcome filter. Pity that the event isn't earlier, 2 m of snow would deter visitors even more. By August it will just melt.
